About Me

I studied English and Journalism at Greenville College from 1995-1997 and received my earliest writing award in 1996 when I won The Charl Ormond Williams Fund writing competition. Since then, I've continued writing short stories, poetry, philosophical articles, genealogical articles, and fantasy novels. I am currently working on several projects, including the completion of the Faerie Chronicles series. I live in North Carolina with my wife and son.

Behind The Scenes

The Faerie Chronicles series is a renewal of Celtic Mythology. Many fantasy series draw from Norse, Egyptian, Roman or Greek mythologies, but Celtic myths have remained mostly unexplored...until now. I began writing The Scions of Faerie in 2003 when my wife and I learned we would have a baby. I wanted to write a book for Young Adults that my son would enjoy as a teenager. Over the last fifteen years, the book series has undergone several significant changes, but my greatest joy was hearing my son read the 3rd book in the series and scream, “No! I want to know what happens next! You need to finish the series NOW!”
